ACTIVITY

The activity of HTubo focuses on trade in tubes, parts and accessories for hydraulic and pneumatic industry, local (retail), nationally (wholesale) and African countries such as Angola and Mozambique.

Founded in 1994 in Pombal, on the initiative of three people from the same family who brought some of the "know-how" necessary for the development and success that HTubo has achieved.

Currently collaborating with the company 25 employees distributed by the administrative departments, commercial, marketing and quality, technical support and warehouse.

We are exclusive representatives crimping machines Finn-Power to Portugal, Angola and Mozambique.

Over the years the company has increased its size and built a strong team, based on the integration with respect and synergy of a large family.

This is the philosophy of HTubo followed since its foundation, based on the appreciation and respect of human talents. His administration believes that to become a great company requires huge attitudes, effort and expertise. Thus, the success of growth HTubo was only possible thanks to the dedication and effort of his team of collaborators.

Each fulfilling its role, believing and investing their knowledge on the potential of the company.

This joining of forces is reinforced daily in a gear called HTubo that progresses in a concerted and constant.

REMARKABLE MILESTONES IN HTUBO'S HISTORY

1992 - THE COMPANY IS FOUNDED

In 1992 the brothers Paulo Sá and Luís Sá and their mother Irene Silva decide to unite their efforts and Know-How and found the company.

1994 - START OF ACTIVITY

In 1994 HTUBO starts its activity at a local level, in its premises at Travessa do Barco in Pombal.
A space with 1000m, dedicated to the retail trade of pipes, parts, hydraulic, pneumatic and transmission accessories, for the various branches of industry.

1999 - WHOLESALE TRADE

HTubo receives requests from customers from all over the country, from commerce and industry areas. Decides to expand its business area to wholesale trade. Creates the commercial department and expands its activity throughout the country.

It supplies everything that has to do with piping and flexible hydraulic conduction. The availability and stock variety of industrial hoses is constantly growing.
Everything we consume, build or produce, at some point in the transformation process, has to be transported, has to go through hoses, the company commercialieses these hoses, whether they are for high temperatures, food products, chemicals, abrasives, ...
It also supplies everything related to transmission and hydraulic and pneumatic seals.

2008 - EXPORTATION

The company's exports begin to gain expression in the company's turnover volume. HTUBO starts exporting to Angola, Mozambique and several European countries.

2009 - MANUFACTURING AND WELDING

To satisfy the need for terminals and accessories with unconventional measures or characteristics, the company created its own manufacturing unit, which allows the production of one piece or a batch of pieces tailored to the customer's needs.
It also welds and transforms flexible stainless steel.

2011 - NEW FACILITIES AND CERTIFICATION ISO 9001:2008

Supplying the food, agriculture, textile, chemical, pharmaceutical, metal-mechanical, steel, metallurgical, extractive, automotive, paper industry industries requires a diversified stock with an immediate response capacity. In order to increase the storage capacity, the variety of products and services required to consolidate customers, the company moved the facilities to an area of 5000m.
And also to open up the search for new markets and products.
With regular investment, research and development of new solutions in the area, HTUBO continues to grow in a continuous and sustained way. The company has achieved an improvement in its overall organization and a better division of goods and services by sector.

2014 - ONLINE STORE

To expedite access to the company's catalogs and articles and facilitate their acquisition, the company made the online store available to customers in 2014.
Efficient stock and logistics allow the company to deliver by 1.00 pm on the working day following the order.

2015 - ACQUISITION OF NEW PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT

In order to respond to its customers, HTubo has been developing its technical skills, investing in qualified professionals, equipment and new technologies.
The continuous goal of total customer satisfaction is always present and in constant evolution.

2022 - ONLINE STORE RENOVATION

HTubo has 35 employees, a physical store, an online store and 4 commercials that visit customers in Portugal mainland and islands.
8 years after the online store was made available and our customers' growing adherence was verified, it became imperative to update this tool with the latest technologies and we began its remodeling.
